Step 1: Check If Your Bestie Has An Active AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page
In order to win our giveaway, both you and the teacher you’re nominating must have active classroom pages with AdoptAClassroom.org. You can search our database of teachers with active, public-facing classroom pages here. You will need both teachers’ classroom page links when you submit your giveaway entry.
Is your teacher bestie not on AdoptAClassroom.org? No problem! Help them easily sign up by copying and pasting the below email:

Step 2: Tell Us About Your Teacher Bestie With A Video or Story
We want to hear why your teacher bestie makes you want to continue learning and growing as a teacher. You might consider the following questions while brainstorming:
- What are your teacher bestie’s unique talents and attributes?
- How does your teacher bestie contribute to your school community?
- What is an example of a time that your teacher bestie went above and beyond for a student or fellow educator?
- How does your relationship with your teacher bestie support you in being a great teacher?
- How would winning $1,000 of school supplies each with AdoptAClassroom.org make a difference in your classrooms?
You can tell us their story in one of two ways: with a short written response and photo or with a short video. You can find more information and examples for both below.
Short Written Response & Photo
In a couple of paragraphs, tell us about how your ‘teacher bestie’ inspires you to keep learning and growing as a teacher. Please also include a photo related to your written response. It can be of your teacher bestie, a group shot including both of you or even photos of your classrooms. Feel free to be creative!
Example:
I would like to nominate Ms. Douglas! She is a high school SPED Resource teacher for students with high social and emotional needs. Her classroom is a warm, inviting space where students can voice their feelings, joke, or hang out. She is also a hub of knowledge and collaborates daily with fellow SPED teachers and other staff in our school community to best support students.
Ms. Douglas goes above and beyond by individualizing lessons, supporting students through crises, and going out of her way to connect with students’ families to support them in and outside of school. She also brings as much of herself as possible to her classroom and teaching, which is difficult in a school that has very few teachers of color.
Ms. Douglas is a mentor and teacher bestie who inspires me with her humor, realness, and advocacy. Her strategies in setting long-term academic and SEL goals for her students and helping them achieve scaffolded milestones has had an impact on the way I work with students now as well!

Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Submit a written response and photo or a video explaining why another teacher inspires you through this form. Both teachers must have active AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Pages from June 28 – July 28, 2023 to win. Limit one entry per nominating teacher.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the Teacher Besties Giveaway constitutes an entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Giveaway begins on (6/12/2023) at 12 AM ET and ends on (6/28/2023) at 11:59 PM ET. Entries received before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited PreK-12 public, private or charter school and a legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. All participants must be in compliance with AdoptAClassroom.org’s Terms of Use. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted on or about (7/5/2023) from all eligible entries received to select five pairs of Potential Winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential winners do not need to be present at the time of the Drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by emailing them at the email address they used to register with AdoptAClassroom.org. If a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
PRIZES:
We will randomly select five pairs of Prize winners who will each be awarded one $1,000 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page. The Prize consists of only the items listed and AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment or refund of a prize is permitted, except by AdoptAClassroom.org, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by AdoptAClassroom.org in its sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person.
