AdoptAClassroom.org works with more than 20 education and supply vendors to support your needs. But how do those supplies get to you? Here is your step-by-step guide to ordering school supplies with your AdoptAClassroom.org funds!
1. Log in to your AdoptAClassroom.org account.
2. Click “Go To Shop” from the teacher/school admin dashboard.
Note: if you see a popup that says “Please create your classroom page before shopping,” you can learn how to create your classroom page here (teachers) or here (school administrators)
3. Shop in the AdoptAClassroom.org Marketplace, which hosts more than 20 school supply vendors all in one place. You can search by typing a keyword or browsing by vendor/category.
4. As you add items to your cart from different vendors, they will all appear in your cart. You can review what is in your cart at any time by clicking on the cart symbol. To begin the checkout process, click on the blue shopping cart icon, then click “Proceed to checkout”
5. Next, verify your school’s shipping address. This will allow our vendors to determine applicable shipping charges. Please note that we are unable to send deliveries to personal addresses. If your school cannot receive shipments during normal business hours, email [email protected].

6. Next, confirm the amount that will be deducted from your AdoptAClassroom.org account.
If the cost of your order exceeds your available funds, you have two options:
- Add a debit/credit card to cover the remaining amount
- Adjust the number of items in your cart to bring your balance back within your available funds
7. You’ll be asked to review your order one last time before submitting it. Once your order is submitted, you will see a screen confirming that your order was submitted.
Note that the billing address and shipping address will differ on this page. The shipping address should match your school address.

Looking for something you can’t find in our shop?
On occasion, AdoptAClassroom.org’s vendors are unable to provide everything a teacher needs for their classroom. In these cases, AdoptAClassroom.org does allow for the use of funds for those items outside of our vendor network, provided the purchases meet the criteria and guidelines here. To request approval for an out-of-network purchase, complete this form and we will respond within 1-2 business days. Please wait for us to approve your request before making any purchases.
How long does shipping take?
For shipping/tracking updates, please contact the vendor using the “Contact our Vendors” page located in our Help section (linked?). Be sure to have your Order ID and/or Order # to provide to each vendor. This information can be found in your Order History.
Where’s my package/ can I return my package?
To facilitate returns/exchanges/order updates, please contact the vendor directly for the most timely response. Each vendor sets their own policies and will be able to provide you with next steps.
