Farmers Insurance Awards 60 Teachers Grants
Farmers Insurance awarded 60 teachers $2,500 grants in April through their Thank America’s Teachers program. Starting in June, you can vote for the next round of grantees here.
BIC Fight for Your Write
BIC will continue the Fight for Your Write campaign in 2015 . Last year, BIC provided 100,000 writing tools to children in need in school districts across the country. For each signature BIC collects, they will donate pens and pencils back to AAC.

Twins Game – July 31: Minneapolis, MN
Since AdoptAClassroom.org is based in Minneapolis, we are planning to adopt as many Minnesota teachers as possible! As part of our effort, AdoptAClassroom.org will be hosting a night with the Twins. A reception will be hosted with Carmichael Lynch at our location starting at 4:30pm. Please note that we currently have a waitlist for tickets to this event. MN teachers can join the list when they register their classroom and email Program Coordinator Melissa Hruza at [email protected].
Minnesota State Fair – September 2: Saint Paul, MN
AdoptAClassroom.org will be partnering with the Minnesota Library Association for their Read & Ride Day. Our goal is to thank 1,000 teachers in one day at our gift booth.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week was a success this year! We ran two campaigns: one for donors and one for teachers. We invited donors to give and thank their teacher on social media for a matching donation. We asked teachers to share the moments that make teaching #WorthIt for them.
