We’re excited to launch our second annual AdoptAClassroom Week to support teachers at the start of the school year. To celebrate, we have several classroom funding opportunities for PreK-12 teachers nationwide.

What is AdoptAClassroom Week?
AdoptAClassroom.org started AdoptAClassroom Week last year to raise awareness for the need to provide classrooms with school supplies during the back-to-school season. We also provide teachers with a variety of classroom funding opportunities, and offer ways for the public to help classrooms start the school year strong.
AdoptAClassroom Week takes place annually during the last full week of August.
While teachers and students need school supplies all year long, stocking a classroom at the beginning of the year comes with an overwhelming price tag. Teachers currently spend an average of $750 out of pocket each year on resources for their students.
Current rates of inflation are causing school supplies to cost more, and 96% of teachers said that inflation is negatively affecting their classroom’s access to school supplies. The need for public support to solve this issue is greater than ever before.

$10,000 Classroom Donation Match

On August 22–23, AdoptAClassroom.org is doubling donations made to classroom pages, up to $50. Matching begins at 7am CT on Monday, August 22 and goes until 5pm CT on August 23, or until we meet our $10,000 limit.
This is a great opportunity for donors to double their impact. Find a teacher and make your donation go even further.
#BackToSchool2022 Giveaway
We’re randomly selecting 20 teachers to receive $250 for their classroom. To enter, all you need to do is edit your classroom page and add ‘#BackToSchool2022’ in the “Why We Need Your Help,” ”About My Classroom,” or “What We Need” sections of your classroom page. This giveaway ends August 31.

In addition to our classroom donation match, donations will be doubled when donors give directly to AdoptAClassroom.org. Donations made to AdoptAClassroom.org allow us to allocate funds where they’re needed most.
Subaru Loves Learning Match
During Subaru Loves Learning month, August 1-31, 2022, Subaru will match your online donation to this AdoptAClassroom.org fundraiser* dollar-for-dollar, up to $350,000 in total. Your gift will provide even more teachers with the flexible funding they need to help their students start the school year off right.
