Showing educators you appreciate their hard work is one of the best gifts they can receive. In the spirit of the holiday season, take a minute to acknowledge one of the exceptional educators in your life. Our friends at the National Life Group Foundation make it easy to do. Now through December 31, they invite you to nominate a K-12 educator for LifeChanger of the Year.
LifeChanger of the Year is an annual program that recognizes and celebrates K-12 educators and school employees across the country, who are making a significant difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence, and leadership.
After nominations close at the end of the year, the national selection committee will select the top 15 LifeChangers to receive cash prizes. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000, to be split between a $5,000 individual cash award and a $5,000 donation to the winner’s school/district. See all awards here.
When you nominate an educator for LifeChanger of the Year you’re not only showing them you care, you’re also helping other educators across the country. For each LifeChanger of the Year nomination they receive, the National Life Group Foundation is donating $10 to the AdoptAClassroom.org COVID-19 Fund for Teachers and Students to help us ensure educators across the country have access to the resources they need to do their jobs.
We all know what a challenging year this has been, particularly for our nation’s educators. During the pandemic, they have been working harder than ever to ensure students and their families have the school supplies and resources they need, wherever learning is taking place. This holiday season is a great opportunity to celebrate and recognize our amazing educators for their tireless efforts.
Is there more than one amazing educator in your life? You can nominate up to three teachers or school employees. All K-12 public and private school employees are eligible, and all nominees will be notified by email about their nomination. Learn more here.
