How To Enter For a $1,000 Classroom Donation
Now through August 23, teachers at high-needs schools* who have a classroom page with AdoptAClassroom.org can enter for the chance to receive a $1,000 classroom donation from Subaru.
To enter, answer the question in this form and submit it by the end of AdoptAClassroom Week on August 23, 2024.
You must be registered (it only takes a few minutes!) and have a classroom page with AdoptAClassroom.org, and have logged in within the last 60 days of the giveaway deadline. If you already have a classroom page, now is a great time to update your page ahead of the funding opportunities we’re launching in August.
*AdoptAClassroom.org defines a high-needs school as one where 40% or more students receive free and reduced lunch or has schoolwide Title 1 eligibility.
Our Award-Winning Work With Subaru Loves Learning
In 2023, Subaru and AdoptAClassroom.org received a Gold Halo Award for Best Education Initiative for our work supporting teachers and students. Through working with Subaru and their retailers to donate to schools in their communities, we’re making a BIG difference in neighborhoods nationwide.
What is AdoptAClassroom Week?
Teachers spend too much on school supplies to support their students. Much of that spending happens at the beginning of the school year when teachers prepare their classrooms for a new set of students.
To mitigate teacher spending, we started AdoptAClassroom Week in 2021. During this week, we offer a donation match and several other classroom funding opportunities to help teachers get the donations they need.
Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Fill out the form above including your contact information and the required question by August 23, 2024. Be sure to use the email address associated with your AdoptAClassroom.org account. You’ll also need to have a classroom page with AdoptAClassroom.org and have logged in within the last 60 days of the giveaway deadline to be eligible to win. Limit one entry per teacher.
PRIZE:
We will randomly select one winner who will be awarded one $1,000 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page to be used on the AdoptAClassroom.org Marketplace for in-network purchases only (“Prize”). The Prize consists of only the items listed and sponsors shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or refund of a prize is permitted, except by sponsors, who reserve the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by sponsors in their sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person. Any remaining funds from Prize will expire after one year from date of prize disbursement.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the 2024 Subaru Giveaway constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Giveaway begins on (8/5/2024) at 9 AM ET and ends on (8/24/2024) at 12:00 AM ET. Entries received before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited Title 1 PreK-12 public, private, or charter school where 40% or more students receive free and reduced lunch or has schoolwide Title 1 eligibility, and legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the sponsors to use the winner’s name and/or likeness for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. Employees of Subaru of America, Inc., AdoptAClassroom.org, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are ineligible.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted by AdoptAClassroom.org on or about 8/26/2024 from all eligible entries received to select one Potential Winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winner by emailing them at the email address they used to register with AdoptAClassroom.org. If a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
