From July 1–August 31, 2024, Skechers is inviting customers to round up their in-store purchases to donate to AdoptAClassroom.org® at their store locations nationwide. Donations raised at checkout will support our Inclusive Classroom Fund, and athletics and sports in schools.
Since 2021, Skechers has raised more than $357,000 for AdoptAClassroom.org to ensure students have the learning materials they need to be successful in the classroom.
Meeting Students’ Needs Thanks to Skechers
Education isn’t one size fits all and teachers, no matter the subject or grade level, often instruct a classroom full of students with a diverse range of needs.
According to our 2024 survey, 77% of teachers need classroom funding to address their students’ different learning styles. As a result, they spend an average of $860 a year out of their own pockets on classroom supplies to help their students reach their full potential.
Funds raised at the register in July will support our Inclusive Classroom Fund to help provide education leaders the support they need to transform their classrooms and their school communities into more equitable spaces.
Angela is a special education teacher who received a donation from Skechers in 2023. With Skechers’ support, Angela was able to provide students in her self-contained autism classroom with the quality education they deserve.
“The students in my self-contained autism classroom will have so many opportunities thanks to Skechers,” said Angela. “I have eight students, all on varying levels of the spectrum, who need sensory, academic, social-emotional, and fine-motor activities. These types of items can be expensive, but thanks to Skechers, my students will have every opportunity to excel at school.”
In August, when a Skechers customer donates at checkout, their donation will support physical education in high-needs schools, to help make it possible for more students to achieve their best in sports or athletics.

Support Teachers and Students With Skechers
Every cent donated at the register adds up to more school supplies for students at high-needs schools. A $1 donation to AdoptAClassroom.org could provide a pencil to 10 students who need them.
When a teacher receives a donation through AdoptAClassroom.org they can use it to purchase the school supplies they need on our marketplace of education vendors.
