For more than a decade, ACE Cash Express has helped students at high-needs schools access the supplies they need to learn. Since 2013, they’ve donated nearly $600,000 to AdoptAClassroom.org through their annual Give A Little Campaign.
This year, 216 ACE locations are coming together to raise funds for teachers.
From May 1-31, ACE employees at participating locations will encourage their customers to donate to AdoptAClassroom.org at checkout. Donations raised will support teachers in the stores’ communities. These gifts will help teachers access educational resources they need for their classrooms.
ACE Supports Local Teachers
AdoptAClassroom.org first surveyed teachers about their spending in 2015. At the time, we found that teachers spent an average of $600 out-of-pocket on school supplies. Over the last nine years, that number has increased to $860.
ACE’s ongoing support helps teachers combat this rise in their personal spending. When a teacher receives a classroom donation through AdoptAClassroom.org, they can get materials they need to support their students, without digging into their own pockets.
Teachers across the country can register with AdoptAClassroom.org to raise donations for school supplies. Sponsors like ACE often support teachers in their communities who are already registered with AdoptAClassroom.org with a classroom page.
