Since 2021, Subaru has teamed up with us for Subaru Loves Learning to fund teachers so they can purchase school supplies for their students. Each year, we help match Subaru with thousands of classrooms in high-needs schools to support their retailers’ communities across the country.
If you aren’t fortunate enough to teach in one of the thousands of Subaru funded schools, you still are in luck. During AdoptAClassroom Week (Aug. 21-25) this is your chance to enter to receive a $1,000 classroom donation through Subaru’s Back-To-School Giveaway. And it’s super easy.
If you’re an AdoptAClassroom.org registered teacher at a Title 1 school, you have until August 25th to comment on any of our giveaway social posts on Facebook(link to social post), Twitter(link to social post), or Instagram(link to social post), letting us know how a $1,000 classroom donation would help your students learn.
How To Enter Subaru’s Back-To-School Giveaway
Step 1: Create an AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page
Register with AdoptAClassroom.org and create your classroom page. If you already have a classroom page, you’ve completed the first step!
Step 2: Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram
You can enter this giveaway on AdoptAClassroom.org’s Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter), and Instagram account. To make a qualifying entry on a social post, you must be following us on the corresponding social media channel.
Each social media channel where you enter our giveaway gives you an additional entry.
Step 3: Comment on our Back-To-School Giveaway social post
Comment on our Facebook post(link to social post), Twitter post(link to social post), or Instagram post(link to social post), letting us know how a $1,000 donation would help your students learn. For additional entries, comment on the Back-To-School Giveaway post on all three social channels.

This award recognizes our fully-integrated, innovative program that puts more supplies into the hands of more students.
August continues to be Subaru Loves Learning month, a time Subaru and its retailers across the country have dedicated to creating equal and fair opportunities for quality education in high-needs schools and their students.
We’re working together to provide teachers with classroom funds to purchase the school supplies required for all of their students to thrive in school.
What is AdoptAClassroom Week?
AdoptAClassroom Week is our annual recognition of teachers to highlight the need to fund classrooms at the start of the new school year. We launched AdoptAClassroom Week in 2021 after our Teacher Spending Survey found that teachers’ out-of-pocket spending on school supplies, reached an all-time high and continues to climb.
In 2023, teacher spending jumped to a daunting $860 a year. That’s why AdoptAClassroom Week, with our multiple classroom funding opportunities for PreK-12 teachers nationwide, is more important than ever before.
Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Comment on our Back-To-School Giveaway Facebook(link to social post) (@AdoptAClassroom), Twitter(link to social post) (@Adopt_Classroom), or Instagram(link to social post) (@AdoptAClassroom) post, answering the question we posed, while also following AdoptAClassroom.org on the corresponding social media channel by August 25, 2023. Limit one entry per Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram account.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the Subaru Back-To-School Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Giveaway begins on (8/21/2023) at 9 AM ET and ends on (8/25/2023) at 12:00 PM ET. Entries received before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited Title 1 PreK-12 public, private, or charter school and legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. Acceptance of a prize also constitutes permission to the sponsors to use winner’s name and/or likeness for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. Employees of Subaru of America, Inc., AdoptAClassroom.org, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household are ineligible.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted by AdoptAClassroom.org on or about 8/28/2023 from all eligible entries received to select one Potential Winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the Drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by tagging them on the social media channel where they made their qualifying entry, announcing that they were randomly selected to win. If a Potential Winner does not respond within 72 hours providing AdoptAClassroom.org with a link to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page, declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
PRIZES:
We will randomly select one Prize winner who will be awarded one $1,000 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page to be used on the AdoptAClassroom.org Marketplace for in network purchases, only. The Prize consists of only the items listed and sponsors shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or refund of a prize is permitted, except by sponsors, who reserve the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by sponsors in their sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person. Any remaining funds from prize expire after one year from date of prize disbursement.
