We are excited to support educators during AdoptAClassroom Week for the third year in a row. To celebrate, we have several classroom funding opportunities for PreK-12 teachers nationwide.

What is AdoptAClassroom Week?
While teachers and students need school supplies all year long, stocking a classroom at the beginning of the year comes with an overwhelming price tag. According to our 2023 Teacher Spending Survey, teachers currently spend an average of $860 out of pocket each year on resources for their students. This is a 14% increase since our last Teacher Spending Survey in 2021.
We started AdoptAClassroom Week to raise awareness and support for classrooms in need. Teachers can participate in a variety of classroom funding opportunities. Supporters can give students and educators a successful start to the new school year.

$15,000 Classroom Donation Match
AdoptAClassroom.org is doubling donations made to classroom pages, up to $50. Matching begins at 6am ET on Tuesday, August 22 and goes until 6pm ET, or until we meet our $15,000 limit.
This is a great opportunity for donors to double their impact. Find a teacher and make your donation go even further.

#AACBackToSchool2023 Giveaway
We’re randomly selecting 40 teachers to receive $100 for their classroom. To enter, all you need to do is edit your classroom page and add ‘#AACBackToSchool2023’ in the “Why We Need Your Help,” “About My Classroom,” or “What We Need” sections of your classroom page. This giveaway ends August 30.

$5,000 Donation Match
In addition to our classroom donation match, donations will be doubled when donors give directly to AdoptAClassroom.org. Donations made to AdoptAClassroom.org allow us to allocate funds where they’re needed most.
This generous $5,000 match is from our friends at the ECMC Foundation and AdoptAClassroom.org Board Member Rahoul Ghose. This matching gift is from a discretionary program.

Subaru $1,000 Classroom Giveaway
If you’re a teacher at a Title 1 school, you have until August 25th at 12pm ET to enter for the chance to receive a $1,000 donation from Subaru through AdoptAClassroom.org.
