To celebrate AdoptAClassroom Week, we’re randomly selecting 20 PreK-12 teachers registered on AdoptAClassroom.org to receive a $250 classroom donation to purchase school supplies.
To be eligible for a chance to receive a $250 donation, teachers must create or edit their AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page with the hashtag “#BackToSchool2022” by August 31, 2022.
Now is a great time to create or edit your classroom page so you’ll be prepared for other funding opportunities during AdoptAClassroom Week. AdoptAClassroom Week is one of the ways we equip educators with the resources they need heading into the new school year.

To enter for the chance to receive a $250 donation, follow our step-by-step instructions below.
Step 1: Create or Log in to Your AdoptAClassroom.org Account
Step 2: Add “#BackToSchool2022” to Your Classroom Page
When you log in to your AdoptAClassroom.org page, click “edit classroom page.”
Next, add the hashtag “#BackToSchool2022” in the “Why We Need Your Help,” ”About My Classroom,” or “What We Need” section of your classroom page so we know you applied for this donation.
While you’re logged in, make sure to edit the “Why We Need Your Help,” ”About My Classroom,” and “What We Need” section of your AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page so that it reflects what your classroom currently needs this school year.

Step 3: Set Your Classroom Page to Public
To be eligible for this giveaway, you must check the “Make My Page Public” box of your classroom page if it is not already public.
On AdoptAClassroom.org, you have the option to make your classroom page private if you’re not going to use it to crowdfund. If you have a private page you can still apply for our grants and spend donations you receive from our sponsors. However, your page must be public to be eligible for this donation.
The benefit of having a public classroom page on AdoptAClassroom.org is that our donors can see your page and make a donation. It’s especially beneficial to you to have a public page during AdoptAClassroom Week because we’ll be matching donations that donors make to your classroom page.

What is AdoptAClassroom Week?
AdoptAClassroom Week is an annual recognition of teachers during the last full week of August to highlight the need to fund classrooms during the back-to-school season.
We launched AdoptAClassroom Week in 2021 after our 2021 Teacher Spending Survey found that teacher spending on school supplies to do their job reached an all-time high of $750 a year.
We’re celebrating AdoptAClassroom Week with a variety of classroom funding opportunities for PreK-12 teachers nationwide. We encourage the public to join us on August 22–26, 2022 to support teachers, who do one of the most important jobs that exist.
HOW TO ENTER:
Create or edit your public classroom page on AdoptAClassroom.org, tell your teaching story in the “Your Teaching Story” section of your classroom page, and include the hashtag “#BackToSchool2022” in the “Why We Need Your Help,” “About My Classroom,” or “What We Need” section of your classroom page. Limit one entry per teacher.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the #BackToSchool2022 Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
The Giveaway begins on (8/1/2022) at 12 AM CT and ends on (8/31/2022) at 11:59 PM CT. Entries received before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited PreK-12 public, private, or charter school and legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
A random drawing will be conducted on or about 9/5/2022 from all eligible entries received to select 20 Potential Winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the Drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by emailing them at the email address they used to register with on AdoptAClassroom.org. If a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
We will randomly select 20 Prize winners who will each be awarded one $250 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Page. The Prize consists of only the items listed and AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or refund of a prize is permitted, except by AdoptAClassroom.org, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by AdoptAClassroom.org in its sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person.
