Over the past four years, Burlington, the national discount retailer, has funded tens of thousands of teachers, putting school supplies in the hands of more than one million students. This year, they are proud to continue their tradition of supporting teachers and students. Their annual back-to-school in-store fundraising campaign that benefits AdoptAClassroom.org kicks off July 5 and runs through August 9. This year, more than ever, teachers and students need our help.
Now through August 9, Burlington customers are invited to donate to AdoptAClassroom.org at checkout to help provide local classrooms nationwide. Donations collected at Burlington’s more than 780 locations across the country will provide school supplies to teachers and students in each of Burlington Stores’ very own communities. Join Us to Support Teachers and Students in Need
This school year, many students need extra support, individualized attention and supplies to learn and succeed. Without resources, teachers will have to spend their own money on the additional classroom materials for their students.
“The pandemic has created a huge learning gap with our students and that is one of the biggest challenges this year and for next year,” said Tera G., one of the thousands of teachers Burlington has funded this year. “The donation from Burlington will help overcome these challenges next year by preparing us with resources to handle this learning gap and begin to work on individualized learning plans to get our students back to normal grade-level standards.”
You can join Burlington to help teachers and students return to the classroom with the school supplies they need by donating at checkout to AdoptAClassroom.org. Burlington is a caring partner in education who has raised more than $7 million with AdoptAClassroom.org to provide learning materials to more than 38,000 classrooms nationwide since 2017.
