This Twitter Chat is a conversation with teachers about teaching during COVID-19, coping strategies for student and educator mental health, tips for a safe classroom, and how to fundraise for wellness materials. Whether your students are in the classroom or distance learning, wellness is especially important this school year, and there’s a community of teachers with great advice to give for your current situation.
Be sure to follow @Adopt_Classroom on Twitter and participate in the chat for your chance to receive one of five $100 donations on AdoptAClassroom.org (teachers have 12 months from the date of the donation to use it to purchase classroom supplies).
Teacher Giveaway: #ClassroomWellness Twitter Chat
To enter for the chance to receive one of five $100 AdoptAClassroom.org donations, use our hashtag “#ClassroomWellness” during the live Twitter Chat to ask questions or share advice about classroom wellness and teaching during COVID-19.
The more you use the hashtag to ask or answer questions, the more chances you’ll have to win.
During our Twitter Chat, AdoptAClassroom.org will be posing #ClassroomWellness questions and sharing helpful tips and questions tweeted by teachers who include the hashtag. We’ll also give tips throughout the night on fundraising for classroom wellness supplies. If you have any fundraising questions for us, ask us during our Twitter chat and we’ll help you out!

We’ll also pose a #ClassroomWellness question on Facebook and Instagram at 9am CT on Thursday, November 19th. Answer our question on Facebook and/or Instagram for an additional entry in our giveaway before the Twitter chat ends at 8:30pm CT.

Giveaway Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Follow AdoptAClassroom.org on Twitter (@Adopt_Classroom) and ask or answer questions about teaching during COVID-19, coping strategies for student and educator mental health, or tips for a safe classroom during our #ClassroomWellness Twitter Chat using the hashtag “#ClassroomWellness.” Limit five entries per Twitter account. Answer the #ClassroomWellness question posed on AdoptAClassroom.org’s Facebook and Instagram account to receive an additional entry. Limit one entry per Facebook and Instagram account.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES:
Participation in the #ClassroomWellness Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules, which are final and binding. Winning a Prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
PROMOTION PERIOD:
The Twitter Giveaway begins on (11/19/2020) at 6:30 PM CT and ends on (11/19/2020) at 8:30 PM CT. Entries received on Twitter before the start time or after the end time will not be considered.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants must be a PreK-12 teacher at an accredited school and legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Participation is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
WINNER SELECTION:
A random drawing will be conducted on or about 11/20/2020 from all eligible entries received to select five Potential Winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Potential Winners do not need to be present at the time of the Drawing to accept the Prize.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POTENTIAL WINNERS:
AdoptAClassroom.org will notify Potential Winners by listing their Twitter handles in a tweet. If a Potential Winner does not respond by emailing [email protected] with a link to their AdoptAClassroom.org classroom page or by stating their name, email address, and school name within 72 hours of the time the Notification is sent, if a Potential Winner declines to accept the Prize, or if a Potential Winner is disqualified for any reason, AdoptAClassroom.org will select an alternate Potential Winner based on a random drawing among all remaining eligible entries received. A Potential Winner is not a verified winner until eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules has been confirmed.
PRIZES:
We will select five Prize winners who will each be awarded one $100 donation to their AdoptAClassroom.org Classroom Account. The Prize consists of only the items listed and AdoptAClassroom.org shall not be responsible for any fees, costs, or taxes arising out of or in connection with Winner’s use of Prize. Prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or refund of a prize is permitted, except by AdoptAClassroom.org, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value, if a prize is not available for any reason as determined by AdoptAClassroom.org in its sole discretion. Limit one Prize per person.
