We’re continuing to update our blog with Distance Learning lesson plans and tips to help teachers during this difficult transition period.
Months into the COVID-19 outbreak, many schools nationwide remain closed for the remainder of the school year. Teachers had to leave their teaching strategies behind and develop Distance Learning lesson plans overnight.
Every child has individual learning needs. Teachers are uniquely positioned to identify and support those needs to keep students engaged and learning from a distance.
However, many teachers are struggling to meet the needs of every child while their students are not in the classroom. It is a difficult time for teachers and their students, but there are teachers across the country who are coming up with new Distance Learning activities to engage students from afar.
During our recent #DistanceLearningChat Twitter discussion, we asked teachers to share video chat activities that were helping them teach remotely. We gathered some of the best Distance Learning activities shared by teachers, for teachers.
